Leila Nachawati is a Spanish-Syrian blogger, communication strategist and human rights activist. She is an assistant professor of Communications at Carlos III University in Madrid and writes for several media like Periodismo Humano, Gloval Voices Online, Global Voices Advocacy and Al-Jazeera. She´s also a board member of AERCO (Spanish Association of Social Media Managers). She holds degrees in English Studies, Arabic Studies, and a master´s degree in International Cooperation.
