The new Ars Electronica Center with spacious new exhibition areas and an expanded substantive focus is set to open on January 2, 2009. The featured exhibits, “New Views of Humankind” and “Artists, Creators, Engineers,” deliver fascinating insights into the hot fields of robotics, biotechnology and neuroscience, and highlight creative, innovative applications of new digital media. Lots of interactive installations and media art projects complement the spectrum of offerings; they make for an interesting, user-friendly way to learn more about digital technologies and their applications. The Museum of the Future is designed for experimentation and hands-on fun. It’s a very special experience all age groups can share.
