Incorporated in our clothes, digital technology can influence human communictaion maybe in the most direct way. In her project “intraInter socialite” Kristin Stransky Mallinger shows how such an integration could look like.

We have to deal with our history and there is sometimes no way out! And althoug that seems to be very true for architecture, the Re-Skin project shows a way how it is possible to transfrom buildings in an eays and effective way.

Sometimes it it can be an interesting endeavour to observe how the dreams of our childhood affect the technology of today. In the case of the Skeletonics Suit project this kind of influence is as obvious as funny and opens up a completely different view on the question of human – computer interaction!

A city map can be much more than just street names and abstract illustrations of buildings. In 2010 Martha Skinner submitted here new concept of a city map to “[the next idea] voestalpine Art and Technology Grant” and showed that a participatory approach can generate a much more accurate impression of a city.
