Day 1: The PostCity flourishs

10 AM. Day one of the 2015 Ars Electronica Festival in Linz. The first visitors arrive. You can smell freshly baked bread in PostCity, the former postal and parcel distribution center at the main station. A bakery with blue slides – surrounded by plants?

A few meters further colorful t-shirts decorate Gate 22. At the place where one year ago letters and parcels were shipped into the trucks.

It is still 10 clock – and not far away, in the Conference Square of PostCity the first talks begin.

In the meantime, the opening parcours starts with Gerfried Stocker, the artistic director, at the Ars Electronica Center.

Specifically, in the Main Gallery, the big exhibition hall of the Ars Electronica Center. Here, the artist Nick Ervinck introduces his works personally.

Next stop is the Deep Space 8K and the presentation of the project “Post Refugee City” with Hannes Seebacher, Kilian Kleinschmidt, Lukas Maximilian Hüller and Robert Pöcksteiner.
