FleshFactor: "The Age of Missing Information."

A E C F O R U M - "F L E S H F A C T O R"

The following book is useful:

The Age of Missing Information, by Bill McKibben.
Published by Plume, 1993. ISBN: 0452269806

It compares all of the information on all of the cable
TV channels in a 24 hour period (yes, he recorded and
watched them all over a period of months. Eighty channels),
to the information available in a 24 hour period in a walk
in the woods. The woods win. And thus the age of the internet,
and the computer, and mediated experience, is the age
of missing information.

There is more information in our body than in the internet.
The internet today is about 10 terabytes. A small stack of CDROMS.
