FleshFactor: arguing from an extra-social position

A E C F O R U M - "F L E S H F A C T O R"

In Valery Grancher's exchange with Josephine Anstey he stresses in his
argumentation the artist's extra-social position.

In my mind this position is based on a paradox: the artist seems to live
and not live in society -- on the one hand physically "forced", on the
other hand, deep inside, refusing this structure.

Joseph Beuys, in this context, seems to be more precise when saying that
everybody is a fascist. It's at that point that a really interesting
ethical dialogue can take place which is free from affirmations, each
claiming to be politically most correct.
