AEC Fassadenterminal 2012

The facade of the new Ars Electronica Center is equipped with LED panes which can be used in various ways to create art. Via the facade terminal at the Donaulände, the facade’s 5.100 mcan be “played on”. If an MP3 player is connected to the device, the whole building plays the selected music/sounds, and 38.500 LED lamps pulsate to the rhythm of the music.

The brandnew “Fassadenterminal” was developed by the Ars Electronica Futurelab and allows to play the LED-Facade of the Ars Electronica Center. Credit: rubra
