In 2004 Ars Electronica created Ars Electronica Export, a program dedicated to the production of exhibitions, workshops and education programs for and together with partners from all over the world. The partners are institutions involved in art and culture, science, and education as well as private sector companies. Since then, several dozen of such projects have been realized, and each one has been specially configured together with the hosting partner with the aim to involve local as well as international artists. The activities of Ars Electronica Export play an important role in maintaining and extending the range of our vital network of artists and creative collaborators.
“Poetry of Motion” is Ars Electronica’s latest showcase of excellence in media art. It runs December 10-18, 2011 in Osaka, Japan.
Following last year’s successful “Poetry of Motion” show, Ars Electronica has been invited back for another guest appearance at Automobil Forum Unter den Linden in Berlin. The exhibition being produced in cooperation with Volkswagen AG is entitled “What Machines Dream Of.”
The programmatic title of this exhibit curated by Ars Electronica is “Create Your World.” It brings together some of these up-and-coming designers’ extraordinary visions and ideas to showcase them at 2. Kids’ Carnival of la Biennale di Venezia.
