On October 14, 2014, Ars Electronica Solutions Senior Director Michael Badics was a guest on the radio show “Rauchzeichen – Tabakfabrik Linz on air” (Radio FRO 105.0). He talked about “Smart City” as well as the challanges and chances of megacities – and the future of urban agglomeration areas. In this context, Ars Electronica’s GeoPulse was introduced, which makes it possible to depict a selected geographical area—a region or an entire country.
